That's Dr. Schlenz to you! Mark joins this rowdy crew with fiddle licks coming from the California celtic, Queen Mab. When Mark isn't wrangling words or chasing John Muir, he's meditating on the now of a fine stout.
According to Life magazine, circa 1952, everybody's gotta have a Hobart. We've had ours since our beginning in 1998. A man of many strings and a fine craftsman, Hobart travels with bouzouki, mando, and banjo. Rotating between skis and spokes, he rides herd over a flock of egg layers and is known among us as the "dove-whisperer".
Our Captain O' Captain, Bob began playing tin whistle as a wee young lad. Currently he is looking for the wind to blow three whistles at once. Now retired, Bob spends his time playing Irish festivals, sessions. fly fishing and burning up the slopes.
A master of his domain, Mike came to Celtic music by way of classical training, by way of his beginnings on the electric guitar. Formerly a member of The Pigs and currently a member of the short version of the Longhorns, Mike has his Master's in Music from Minnesota. He teaches guitar at Montana State University when he isn't maintaining his fingernails.
Formerly an Iowa Pork Queen (honestly), Marlene began singing as a kid in the haymow. While she didn't win any hog-calling contests, Marlene did perform at Carnegie Hall in college. While balancing her band time and riding herd over a flock of middle schoolers, Marlene is finishing her Master's of Education.
Chelle has since moved to Missoula with Robert O' the Willows. Chelle splits her fiddle time with Addie Mae, the cooing crawdad and Syd, the cooing canine.
